San Francisco

One morning when I was staying in Marin County, we walked to breakfast at Hilda's in San Anselmo, followed by a ferry ride to San Francisco. The sky was open and clear, and a soft, humid breeze rode in from the bay.
I'd wanted to go to San Francisco for so long, had heard so much about it from Beat Generation writers and my friends who live there, and also had such a fabled image in my mind of that Golden Gate Bridge. It did live up to its reputation. Despite the influx of tech, there is a certain casual vibe that permeates the city and makes it comfortable.
