The first snowfall that I saw this year was in Montreal on New Year's Day.It was beautiful - it started snowing in the morning, as we were on the way from our Air Bnb to breakfast at Taverne Gaspar.

I only have a few pictures from New Year's Eve itself. In my opinion, the holiday is a little overrated. They sang Uptown Funk in French on a little stage in the freezing cold. It was windy, gorgeous, and crazy (crowded).

This year for New Year's Eve, friends and I decided to take a risk and take a road trip to Montreal, stopping in Saratoga on the way up and in Lake Placid on the way back down. The scenery along the way (and once we arrived!) was really memorable.
