A Trip To the Distillery

On a recent trip to Woodstock, Vermont, I visited Silo Distillery, a spirit company nestled in Windsor, Vermont's Green Mountains.

Fall in The Tri-State Area

Fall in the New York area is such a happy time of year - the weather is cool and the air is fresh.  Maples glow with leaves of florescent yellow and it's nearly impossible to pull myself away.

Kacey Musgraves is "Pageant Material" and More

About a month ago, I attended a Kacey Musgraves concert.  The event was a birthday gift that I received and I'd been a little resistant to the idea at first - only because it required a 1.5 hour drive to and from the venue (NYC was sold out so we trekked up to New Haven).  In short, it was well worth it.  Kacey is a queen.

 

Inspiration

Lately, I've felt the pull to head to the MET or any art gallery, but in the meantime, Pinterest (cliché as it is) has got me feeling artistically inspired.

Oprah + Deepak Chopra

Oprah is still kicking it.  For those of you who are not regular meditators, Oprah's got your back.  She has collaborated with self-healing guru, Deepak Chopra on a 21-day meditation exercise and there is still time to sign up.  It's worth it.

Noah's in Stonington

Noah's, located just a block from the bobbing sails of boats docked on the blue bay of Stonington, Connecticut, may be pretty casual, but it's also really delicious. I've been going to this restaurant since I was little and my love for it has never wavered.  The food is always good and I have never been disappointed.  The movie Hope Springs was also filmed here.
