The Moon

If you've seen the moon recently, you may recognize that it is proof enough of the possibilities of not only this world, but of the existence of other worlds as well.  Wednesday morning's red moon can attest to this.
Every time I get a glimpse of that glowing orb I'm greeted with a shift of perspective: it's a reminder of the Earth's relation to the rest of the galaxy.  Knowing that there is perhaps more out there, yet that we will be alright gives me great comfort.  We are not alone.  The thought that there is more out there instills faith within me.  We are not our parts separated, but we are the sum of our parts.
