I don't practice yoga nearly as much as I should, but I definitely spend enough time thinking about how I should.
Throughout the past two years I have attended many a yoga class, and after finding a flow that I enjoy I have attempted to practice alone at home. My favorite style of yoga is Hatha (great classes at the IYI in New York) - and I won't attend a class that offers too little time in savasana. The problem is that I currently lack the discipline to make this a daily practice (including meditation), which is a little embarrassing because my mom is a long-time meditation and yoga teacher. I'm trying to change that. One thing I have learned to do, however, is to jump out of a bad mood. Music is vibrational and usually helps - especially upbeat songs, like a lot of blue grass music. The one album that instantly alters my negative moods is this chanting by Deva Premal. Talk about good vibes...image from wordans.ca
