Breaking Through Writer's Block

I like to write. I was an English major in college (with a concentration in creative writing). There is a lot to love in writing: the rough sound of a pen scrawling across paper, drinking coffee, listening to Feist or Paolo Nutini for inspiration...
But most of all, I like the feeling that comes when you're really on a roll. That meditative feeling that you are simultaneously alone and one with everything. It's magic. I find myself so engrossed in the story I'm weaving that everything around me becomes apart of creating it. But then there is the writer's block...Whenever I had writer's block in college, I found that taking a walk alone - sometimes with some good music - did the trick to break through that block. The more that I am active, the more inspiration I encounter. Sometimes a run outside is all it takes to break out of it, anything to get my thoughts moving again...but now that I don't have arbitrary deadlines it's more difficult. Music helps though...
