The Whitney

Midwinter (...aka a few weeks ago), I made a trip to The Whitney.  The sculptures were especially inspiring and it was a nice place to be on a cold winter day, despite the ridiculous line to enter.

This pink mansion, Palazzo Chupi, neighbors The Whitney and is almost as formidable as are the museum's works of art.  It was designed by artist Julian Schnabel, who currently uses the bottom floors as a studio and now uses the structure as condominium units.
